The story behind Eddy the Emu
A young emu in an Australian animal sanctuary, who was, unbeknown to me, hiding behind the wall of his enclosure. As I peered over the wall, he shot up from behind it and scared me silly. Once I had stopped laughing I took a closer look and saw his lovely long lashes and tufty "hair".
