The story behind Beach Babes
On a boat trip to Longstone Island, one of the Farne Islands, I found this nest of eggs in the rocks around the base of the lighthouse. It was so well camouflaged, I almost stood on it. The bird appeared to have collected all the colourful small pieces of shells, pebbles and glass it could find. This reminded me how amazing Nature truly is, and always ready to surprise!
