The story behind Mussel Bound!
On my many walks along the fabulous beaches here in Northumberland I am always collecting bits 'n' bobs that catch my eye, and I have a wooden dish in my studio that is full of mussel shells. One day they sang out for me to paint them, which I did, resulting in this magnificent display of colour variation, texture and overall beauty. There was a lonesome orange shell in their midst. I could look at them for hours!T
