Everyone loves a puffin (or they should) and as they are very colourful in their breeding colours, they are sometimes called a Sea Parrot. What do you call a parrot? Polly.
I try to go and see the puffins when they come to breed on the Farne Islands in Northumberland where I live. I never tire of them, their flapping flight, their comical landings and their absolute cuteness. They make my heart sing, and hopefully through my painting of them yours too.
