The story behind Norman the Hedgehog.
I picked up this hedgehog to move him to a safer place, and he curled up like they do to protect themselves. Then he started to uncurl in my hands, and I got to see the ever so soft fur and little leathery feet, bits that I hadn’t even thought about before. The hidden underside of a hedgehog, making him even more adorable, if that was even possible. Have I mentioned I absolutely love hedgehogs 🩷
I just had to paint it, to share the beauty to be found in the natural world, if we take the time to stop and look.
